Cascading card with Cheery Lynn dies!

After I did my Mother's Day Cascading card class in April, I got several requests to make up card kits for people. I seem to get them all the time, actually. So I made up this card kit for the store. It sold out in 10 days! I'm currently working on a new kit for a women's birthday card but until them, enjoy this one!

After cutting and scoring my two pieces for the card, I used a Martha Stewart lace punch to punch out the top edge of each piece. Put both sides together and then added the double layers of paper (brown and floral). I cut a flourish from MFT. Doily and butterflies from Cheery Lynn. Label from Spellbinders. Happy Birthday from Elizabeth Craft. I simply LOVE how this card folds in to fit in a standard A2 envelope but folds out to become 3D!

Cascading Mother's Day card

I'm a little behind on posting things to my blog. Okay, perhaps a lot behind. It's only July and Mother's Day was in May. Not too far behind. (Sheepish grin)
I made this card and matching A2 clear card box for a Mother's Day Card class.
This is my most favorite card I've made to date. I just love it!

Here is a picture of the card in the card box. Snug as a bug in a rug!

For this card I used an Eggplant colored cardstock for the base and used a coordinating floral paper. Then cut out Cheery Lynn flowers in matching card stock. I punched out leaves with the Marha Stewart punch in 2 different colors of green. I used Bubble gems for the centers of the flowers.

Here is the card opened up and the card box.
What better way to say Happy Mother's Day?
