Snowman Fun

Well, they say that tonight we are going to start getting some accumulation of that nasty white stuff. Yes, snow is on the way. And if you can believe the weather guessers, there will be a lot of it.
Just what all of us crafting people want to here. (NOT) One good thing about a snow storm is that we are forced to stay in the house. And what better thing to work on in early November snow storms than our Christmas cards?

Here is one of the Christmas cards I made this year. Cute little Great Impressions snowman having a bit of fun with some snow flakes. Copics used were: C7, C10, R37, R39 for the hat, R37, R39 for the scarf, B04 for eyes, B97 for buttons, YR09 for carrot nose, R20 for blush, E57 for branches, B41 for snowflakes, Outlined in B000. Clear Wink of Stella brush was used to accent snowflakes and ground.

Happy Snowman making!!

Copic Colored Graduation Cards Galore

I've been busy working on Graduation cards for all the lovely kids graduating high school this spring. I don't generally make my own graduation cards but thought I'd give it a go this year. Of course, originally I thought I'd only have to make one or two cards.....not the dozen I am ending up making.

Anyway....I'm always up for a challenge. I decided to use a digital stamp by Saturated Canary for my card focus. Now normally I don't do digital stamps as I like to have a physical object to work with AND like to support the small businesses. But I couldn't find a graduation stamp that I liked better. So went with these graduation people. Krista at Saturated Canary did an excellent job drawing these!!

Music notes are a Stamps by Judith Stubbie Stamp. I used glossy accents on the eyes to make them more dimensional. MFT fishtail banners were used for the tabs. Pearl accents, ribbon and cute papers. Enjoy!

Sweet Tweets

I just finished making this sweet little card to celebrate the first day of spring!!

I used Spellbinders new Tweets die, Spellbinders Nestabilities shape die and Memory Box Jasmine die and tag die. (dies pictured below) Papers are WorldWin by Colormates solid cardstock, Authentique, Simple Stories and Crate Paper. Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo was also used.

My daughter, Jordan, gave her input on this card as I was assembling it. She really likes it and so do I. It just makes me feel good to look at it. I'm not sure if I can part with it or not. I may just have to keep this one for myself!!

 Happy Spring everyone!!

Gracie with bunny

I am making three cards with the Great Impressions stamp 'Gracie with Bunny'.

I am using Copics to color this sweet girl and her friend, using different colors to show different hair and face coloring ideas. Bunny and outfit will also be different colors.

Gracie and Bunny is a fun Great Impressions Stamp to play around with!
I have so many more ideas for this stamp and can't wait to play with it more after my class!

Here are my finished cards.

Hope you like them!
