Color Burst Cards
I recently participated in a card swap at Picture This in which we had to use embossing folders.
I started out by spritzing my cardstock with water and adding the color burst powders.
Then spritzing with more water until I got the look I wanted.
I let the pieces dry overnight. Then I ran them through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder by Taylored Expressions.
I layered the cards with other embossed elements and finished off my card.
Here are my 10 finished cards for the swap.

Pink Flamingos by My Favorite Things!!
Those that know me know that I LOVE Flamingos! I'm a huge flamingo nut! Flamingo paper, flamingo embossing folder, flamingo dies. Yes, DIES, with an S!! As in multiple. Flamingo stamps. Flamingos are, simply put, an obsession!!
For this card I used the Spellbinders Nestabilites circles, the Memory Box stitched circle, Spellbinders border die, MFT Fishtail banner die, and MFT Flamingo die, floral embossing folder and pink gems.
This was my first Flamingo die.
Since I purchased this die, I have since bought flamingo dies by Cottage Cutz and Die-versions. More to come using those dies!

Creative Cards for every day!
I've been super busy with all the end of the school year stuff going on with the two youngest girls.
Youngest will be graduating from Middle School in a couple weeks as well as getting Confirmed! Middle girl is finishing up her sophomore year. Both are getting ready for auditions for Show Choir as well as finalizing next years class schedules! Then marching practices are starting so they can rock the last parade with the retiring band director. Middle is the Drum Major and directs the band and Youngest will be new to the drum line! So much fun.
Anyway, on to what I've been up to. Worked up this card yesterday quick before work. Fell in love with this Authentique paper, Sweet from the Delightful collection. The main die is from Memory Box called Bailiwick Background. Butterflies from the Martha Stewart punch, Congratulations from Just Right Clear Dies, Flowers from Cheery Lynn and Fishtail banner by MFT.
Working on ideas for MNT club at work. This is one idea that bounced into other ideas. So cute!
Spellbinders rectangle dies are used to cut out the frames. The cloud, sprig and trees are by Memory Box. Butterflies punch by Martha Stewart. Bunnies and grass by IO. I love how this turned out!!
Another idea worked up for MNT. Patterned paper is Basic Grey. Flower die is Memory Box and ovals by Spellbinders. Isn't it just peachy? This card was inspired by one that Leann J. had on display at work. My scraplifted project of the day!!
And lastly I whipped this birthday card up quick on Friday night for my Middle and her friend to give one of their teachers for her birthday. Image is by Saturated Canary. Embossed background by Darice. Star circle by Memory Box and Fishtail banner by MFT. Stamp by Great Impressions. Middle said that the actual card looked SO much cuter than the picture. I really enjoyed coloring her and can't wait to work her up into a couple other cards!
Now off to work on some graduation cards for all the graduations that are coming up fast. Need 3 for this weekend alone! YIKES!! I haven't even came up with a great idea for my grad cards yet! Better get my crafting on!

Blue Poinsettia Christmas Card
My Mother-in-laws favorite color is blue, so I thought I'd make her a blue poinsettia from my new Spellbinder die set.
I used two different shades of blue metallic paper to make the poinsettia. I did the 2 smaller dies in a lighter blue and the two larger dies in a darker blue.
I used Frosted Lace Stickles to give the poinsettia leaves a little extra sparkle. When dried I used my tacky glue to assemble the poinsettia. I finished it off by making the center with more Stickles! This time in a yellow.
Light blue metallic card stock is the base and the tag. I used a gold metallic card stock and a wood grain Darice embossing folder for the back ground. The dark blue metallic border is cut out with a Spellbinder border die and embellished with clear adhesive rhinestones.
I love how it turned out!!
