Kitty Love!!

I was helping a costumer pick out some dies at work the other day and came across this cute kitty die on the floor. (How I missed it when it came in I have no idea....must have been my day off. Waaaa)
I couldn't help but make up a card with it right away! And with Valentine's Day next month, this was purrfect for a sweet love card!

The heart is cut out with Memory Box Open Studio stitched heart layers die. Cats die is a Precision Die by Frantic Stamper. The sentiment is Mini Sentiments by Taylored Expressions (One of my new favorites for stamps and dies!) I added some red rhinestones to bling it up some. Finished it off with some nice black ribbon.

Just Ducky!

How can you NOT think of spring when you see cute little ducks? This is the third and final card from my January 8th class.

Same red cardstock and dots background once again from Echo Park. (Same collection as other cards in the class~Fine and Dandy) Same punch by Martha Stewart with same gold Liquid Pearls. I added some ribbons to dress it up a little.
Blue paper is cut out with Spellbinders oval scalloped die and ducky cut with oval die by Spellbinders. Ducky is popped up on the scalloped oval. Words are also popped up. I used coordinating Copics to highlight words and 'ink' edge.

Copics used: Y13, Y15, YR16, YR18, G24, B000.

Coffee! Coffee! Need Coffee?

This was the second set of stamps that I just had to get for my January 8th class. Those that know me know that I LIVE for my coffee in the morning....and some mornings need a lot more coffee than others! ha

I used the same red that I used in the Udderly Delightful card. Background papers are the front and back of paper in the same collection as yesterdays paper by Echo Park. Cow is layered on red paper and then on blue. Words are on blue paper. Both cow and words are popped up. Flowers are once again using a Martha Stewart punch and finished off with gold Liquid Pearls. I used Glossy Accents over the cups to make them look ceramic.

Innie is made using the second portion of the word stamp mounted on red paper put on background paper coordinating with the front. 

Copics used are: Y32, N0, N2, N3, E93, G24, B000, B32, R17

Udderly Delightful!

When Great Impressions released their stamp board in December (2014) I knew right away which ones I wanted to do a class with. In the next few days I will go do a quick overview of the cards in my January 8th class.

The first stamps I picked to do was this sweet cow trio and their puns!  This type of humor is right up my alley.....and living in Wisconsin, how can you NOT like cows? And these cows are sooooo adorable!

 Cows are stamped on Copic compatible paper and mounted on coordinating red cardstock. Background paper is by Echo Park. Words are stamped on Copic compatible paper and fussy cut out and popped up. Grass is a die from Impression Obsession. Flowers are a Martha Stewart punch with gold Liquid Pearls used for the center.
Copics used are B000, G24, N0, N1, N2, R000, E55, E93 & Y32.

Stamping Bella

I just bought myself a bunch of Stamping Bella stamps to play around with. I've been coloring them up in my spare time and plan on doing a card class in February with them. This is one of the clings that I purchased. I call her 'Hannah loves her kitty' but Stamping Bella calls her 'Patience'.

I colored her up with reddish brown hair like my Hannah's as this stamp reminded me of her when she was little. She still loves cats and begs us for another one every day since our old cat Muffin passed away.

Even though are cat was a domestic grey fluffy short-hair tiger I colored this loved kitty in colors that reminded me of my friends tabby.

Susan Louise

I am pretty sure I've talked about using the Susan Louise Acetates and Paper Pics in the past. They are a good way to make some quick and easy cards that look like you spent a lot of time of them. If you aren't one of those people that like to stamp and color images, or don't have time to, they are perfect for you!! You can use them they way they are or dress them up!

Christmas Sparkle!!

I was keeping my Christmas cards under wraps until I got them mailed. Well.....I finally did. Yes, I realize that Christmas is over and it is 2015 already, but I did get them mailed. Better than last year!!

This is my twist on a card I saw on Pinterest.

I used My Minds Eye paper for the background and stamped it with a Merry Christmas using Tim Holtz ink. The sparkles are cut from POW glitter paper using the Memory Box die Chloe Stem. Foreground is textured paper distressed with Tim Holtz ink and the center cut out with a Spellbinders die. Foreground is popped up with pop dots.
