Outdoorsy Birthday Card

Another quick card. I chose a pretty green plaid paper. Cut one of the Taylored Expressions 'Beauty Lies Within' died and added it to the top corner. Tied a simple twine bow. Cut some grass using an IO icicle die. ( hey, it works for grass if you flip it over!) Added a sign die by TE and stamped with Happy Birthday from Penny Black.

Quick and Easy Mens Card

Very quick card to make. Choose a base color and some patterned paper. Layer with a tree die from Taylored Expression. Cut out a deer from Taylored Expressions. You could finish this card with a banner or flag with a sentiment stamped on it. Add a little twine to step it up. Possibilities are endless.

I'm sure I've mentioned it many times before, but Taylored Expressions has become one of my favorite stamp and die companies!! Love all the components they have!!

More Cheery Lynn

This card is not assembled yet....this is in the 'think and create' process, so just a possibility. I eventually stamped it with a sympathy stamp, but could easily be used for birthdays.

Taylored Expressions Mens Birthday Card

I love the colors in this paper even though the pattern isn't really my style. I do love the way it looks in this card though!

I used Spellbinders to cut the rectangle out of the center of the blue paper. Stamped the vellum with a Taylored Expressions stamp using Tim Holtz Distress ink. The tree and deer are both from Taylored Expressions. 

Simply Elegant

Another of the cards I designed for the card buffet. Simple but elegant!

Leafy Oval is by Memory Box. Flower and leaves by Cheery Lynn. Butterfly is a Martha Stewart Punch. 

Popping with Paisley

Those that know me know that I gravitate to certain types of papers. Pailey is one of those prints that I tend to always pick up. I'm guessing it might have to do with growing up with tons of paisley print clothing. Maybe. I just love the way that it looks!

This page is make using a strip of a coordinating paper to help break up the business of the paisley. It is layered over a solid color that I wanted to bring out of the background. I chose to do the photo

areas in the 2 prodominate colors on the page, embossing the top layer with a basic dots embossing folder.  

Flowers are all made from Cheery Lynn dies and embellished with pearls.
