Duck amoung the flowers!

This card was the last in my set of three that I taught in class a couple of days ago. The first was rainy day duck. Then curious duck. And what does rain bring? Buds on the trees. Then what comes next? Bunches of spring flowers! This sweet duck is riding around in a wheelbarrow full of blooms. What a perfect Easter card!

For this last card, I used a new IO flower die. Paper by My Mind's Eye and gems by Queen & Company. Copics were used to color the image.Various colored Stickles were used for the flower centers.

Curious Duck!

Cats aren't the only curious things. Ducks are pretty curious as well! Yesterday I did a card class with three different duck images. I just HAD to use this curious little guy! How cute is he? It took me a little longer to figure out what I wanted him to be looking at. Bugs? Flowers? Then the idea of a puddle popped into my head. And what do you see when you look in a puddle? Your reflection of course!! Love it!!

My Mind's Eye papers were used for the background. I used Orange Candi dots for accents. Tree is by IO. Colored the image with Copics. Used Pink Liquid Pearls to make buds on the trees.

Rainy day duck

I used this stamp by Great Impression not that long ago and just had to use it in another card because it is SUPER cute!!! Ducks remind me of spring and not that long ago I mentioned how bad my spring fever is this year! And Easter is coming up in a few weeks!! Ducks (along with bunnies) just scream Easter!

Background paper is My Mind's Eye. Acrylic dots are by Queen & Co. and Umbrella die is by IO. Image is colored with Copics.

Cheery Lynn Daisy Die

I used the Cheery Lynn Daisy strip die to make the flower embellishments on these pages. Actually the entire embellishment was made with Cheery Lynn dies.Daisy strip for the pedals....I just folded one flower in half. Then I used the center of the Cheery Lynn Sunflower die and cut it in half for the bottom of the flower. The 'vines' are the medium flourish die from Cheery Lynn.

Simple Page layout

Sometimes staying with the simple layout is the way to go. It's quick and easy and you can add embellishments to make it your own!

This 2 photo layout with creams, browns and pinks took little time to make. I added some butterfly embellishments flying around the page and some burgundy ribbon to add a touch of class.

Minnie Mouse inspired

I am a huge fan of Disney. I thoroughly enjoyed my two visits to Disneyworld. This page was inspired by meet and greets with the characters at Disney.

Black and white chevron paper, red cardstock used for the matting, flower and title. Black cardstock embossed with dots for the matting. Black cardstock Minnie hat and Minnie title. White and black polka dot ribbon accents on the matting. Red and white polka dot ribbon accent on the Minnie hat. Black Candi dot to accent the flower.

I can't wait to add our pictures with Minnie to this layout!
