Outdoorsy Birthday Card

Another quick card. I chose a pretty green plaid paper. Cut one of the Taylored Expressions 'Beauty Lies Within' died and added it to the top corner. Tied a simple twine bow. Cut some grass using an IO icicle die. ( hey, it works for grass if you flip it over!) Added a sign die by TE and stamped with Happy Birthday from Penny Black.

More Cheery Lynn

This card is not assembled yet....this is in the 'think and create' process, so just a possibility. I eventually stamped it with a sympathy stamp, but could easily be used for birthdays.

Flourish and flower by Cheery Lynn. Scalloped oval by Spellbinders.

Taylored Expressions Mens Birthday Card

I love the colors in this paper even though the pattern isn't really my style. I do love the way it looks in this card though!

I used Spellbinders to cut the rectangle out of the center of the blue paper. Stamped the vellum with a Taylored Expressions stamp using Tim Holtz Distress ink. The tree and deer are both from Taylored Expressions.

Popping with Paisley

Those that know me know that I gravitate to certain types of papers. Pailey is one of those prints that I tend to always pick up. I'm guessing it might have to do with growing up with tons of paisley print clothing. Maybe. I just love the way that it looks!

This page is make using a strip of a coordinating paper to help break up the business of the paisley. It is layered over a solid color that I wanted to bring out of the background. I chose to do the photo
areas in the 2 prodominate colors on the page, embossing the top layer with a basic dots embossing folder.

Flowers are all made from Cheery Lynn dies and embellished with pearls.

Black & White Blitz

Created this layout using one of my daughter's senior pictures. I printed it off in black & white in an 8x10. I wanted to try a layout using a large photo. Love how it turned out! And I really love this picture of Jordan.

I used My Favorite Things large Fishtail Banner dies. The flourishes and flowers are all by Cheery Lynn. Numbers are by Taylored Expressions.

Cascading Christmas Card!

I used a pretty blue cardstock to make the base for this cascading card. Added paper by Basic Grey in this awesome plaid! Then embossed coordinating paper with dots and inked for the outside sections of the card. I added a sign, deer and cardinals from Taylored Expressions. Trees are Memory Box. Finished it off by writing North Pole with Zig Pen and adding Star Dust Stickles!

Merry Christmas Easel Card

I used Cream Luster Cardstock for the base of this card. When folded down for mailing this card measures 5.5"x4.25".

The cardinal paper was cut using the Memory Box Open Studio Pierced Scalloped Circle die. Tree is by Memory Box. Merry and Christmas are both from a Tim Holtz set by Sizzix (Ellison). Fishtail banner is by My Favorite Things-Dynamics. Both the pine sprigs and the poinsettia are by Cheery Lynn. (My favorite poinsettia die!)

I added rhinestones and twine to finish off this card.

Hope you enjoy!

Cheery Lynn, My Favorite Things, Memory Box and Spellbinders Dies!

There is a lot going on with this page starting with the bright and colorful floral pattern of the paper. I decided to pull the yellow out in the flowers by using yellow to mount my photos and make the flourishes. The orange to make the flowers pop and the teal to bring it all together.

Cream circle was cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities circles. Pierced scalloped circle is a set by Memory Box 'Open Studio', Flowers are the Daisy strip by Cheery Lynn. The flourishes are the stitched flourish by My Favorite Things 'Die-namics'. Candi Dots finish off the centers of the flowers.

Taylored Expressions Holiday Grumplings! Dashing through the NO!

I'm sure I've mentioned before that Taylored Expressions is my new favorite die and stamp brand! I did a class recently using their adorable Holiday Grumpling stamps! This card is using several of those grumpy animals who just don't want any snow!!
I fussy cut out my animals, but you can get dies to do the work for you! I used Tim Holtz Coordinations paper for the background and embossed with a dot embossing folder then lightly sanded. I cut the hills using a Memory Box landscape die and cut the houses and trees off. My Favorite Things-DieNamics fishtail banner used for the sentiment.

Cute-a-tude!

I saw this title in a title suggestion book and thought it was so adorable! I think every mom has a picture of her cute as a button child showing tons of attitude! I think this is a perfect title for those pictures!

Title was custom cute to fit my space and match my colors at Picture This. Stars are cut from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Star dies. They are inked and layered. Photo areas are embossed with an embossing folder and inked to match starts.

You could take this page a step further by adding twine or ribbon and rhinestones or Candi Dots! You could add Stickles or loose glitter. The possibilities are endless!
