Prom Scrapbook Page with Moxxie

WAAAAYYYYY back in April my middle daughter had her Junior Prom. It was an exciting time for her. She was on the prom committee and put a lot of work into decorating for prom as well as selling tickets etc. When she was elected to prom court it was even more exciting for her.
In honor of her special day and the entire prom court, I made this page.

Paper is Moxxie- A Night to Remember, I mounted the photo in blue and purple metallic cardstock.
Flowers are the Judy's Blooms die by Cheery Lynn inked with Versa inks with the centers being Candi dots. I added a little bling by putting crystal gems highlighting the sprakle marks in the paper.

This was definitely a night to remember for all of us!

Born to Ride.....Scrapbook page

I have a lot of girl friends who love to ride motorcycle. They own their own and take them out whenever they can. In honor of those amazing women, I put together this scrapbook page in Harley colors.

The Born to Ride die cut and the motorcycle can be purchased at Picture This along with the paper. I embossed the photo areas and inked them with charcoal ink. I added various stars to make the page pop!
Do you know someone who was Born to Ride? This page is perfect for them!

Cascading card with Cheery Lynn dies!

After I did my Mother's Day Cascading card class in April, I got several requests to make up card kits for people. I seem to get them all the time, actually. So I made up this card kit for the store. It sold out in 10 days! I'm currently working on a new kit for a women's birthday card but until them, enjoy this one!

After cutting and scoring my two pieces for the card, I used a Martha Stewart lace punch to punch out the top edge of each piece. Put both sides together and then added the double layers of paper (brown and floral). I cut a flourish from MFT. Doily and butterflies from Cheery Lynn. Label from Spellbinders. Happy Birthday from Elizabeth Craft. I simply LOVE how this card folds in to fit in a standard A2 envelope but folds out to become 3D!
Who wouldn't love to recieve a card like this? Look for Cascading card kits at Picture This!

C C Design Stamp 'Gone Fishing' and Copics

When this stamp came into the store I just had to buy it and try it out!
This isn't the type of stamps I typically buy as I've always been intimidated by the amount of detail in them but I took it slowly and one element at a time and like how it turned out!

Here is a list of the Copics that I used to color this card.
E25, E35, E37, E84, E97, E99
YG03, YG05, YG07, YG61,YG93, YG95, YG97
BG0000, BG000, BG34, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99
Y26
B41, B91, B93, B97, B99
C0, C2, C5
YR12
T0, T1, T4
R37
W1, W3, W5, W7

If you are like me and find stamps like this intimidating, I strongly urge you to give them a try. They aren't as hard as they look. They do take some amount of time, but really, you end up with a work of art that people will appreciate! I added an IO bird flying in the picture to give it a little added pow factor.
