Birthday Wishes

I have been really bad about posting my projects here. Bad me!! I need to make sure that I take picture of the things I've been working on and get the posted here. A lot of times I forget to take a photo before I send things off to friends, etc.

Because I have been so bad at taking picture of my own stuff, I'm going to share with you a card that my daughter, Jordan, made the other day. I love it when my children are inspired by others that create art!

She used dies from Cheery Lynn, Spellbinders and My Favorite Things along with Prima Flowers, Darice embossing folder, Candi's. and fun papers!

Great Impressions Summer Copics Class

I made up these bright summery cards for a card class June 23 and July 10.   A couple new Great Impressions stamps from their June Stamp of the Month Board and a stamp from last years board.

I really love how the cards turned out and can't wait to show people how to make them in class!

Nautical Notions

Nautical items are really hot right now and we got tons of new items in at Picture This. These last couple weeks I've been working a lot with our new products, especially our red/white/blue items!

The other day I made this easy sample page. I have some awesome picture of my Girl Scout troops Madeline Island trip from a few years back that would totally look adorable on this page!

I am really loving the anchor die by Memory Box! I've used it on several projects lately. Can't wait to see what else I can make with these pretty American inspired papers!

Copic Colored Graduation Cards Galore

I've been busy working on Graduation cards for all the lovely kids graduating high school this spring. I don't generally make my own graduation cards but thought I'd give it a go this year. Of course, originally I thought I'd only have to make one or two cards.....not the dozen I am ending up making.

Anyway....I'm always up for a challenge. I decided to use a digital stamp by Saturated Canary for my card focus. Now normally I don't do digital stamps as I like to have a physical object to work with AND like to support the small businesses. But I couldn't find a graduation stamp that I liked better. So went with these graduation people. Krista at Saturated Canary did an excellent job drawing these!!

Music notes are a Stamps by Judith Stubbie Stamp. I used glossy accents on the eyes to make them more dimensional. MFT fishtail banners were used for the tabs. Pearl accents, ribbon and cute papers. Enjoy!
