Taylored Expressions Santa and Sleigh Card

Another quick card using fun papers. For some reason I really love this green with red! Simple to make card layering all the pieces. 

Stitched oval by MFTstamps. The rest of the dies are by Taylored Expressions. 

Gift Holder Card

This quick gift card holder card is simple to make. I layered my green behind white card stock embossed with the Taylored Expressions snowflake embossing folder. I then cut the green with the Taylored Expressions Tag Pocket and assembled. I cut the polka dot paper out of a coordinating size Tag Stacklets 1 by Taylored Expressions. I cut a rectangle of polka dot paper to fit  the front. I wrapped  a piece of ribbon around the pocket and tied a double bow with the Zutter Bow-it-all. I then attached it to the front of the card and inserted a gift card.
The inside of the card is waiting for a sentiment to fit the person who receives the card.
You could add a cute coffee cup the the front and give a Starbucks GC. The possibilities are endless.

Taylored Expressions Ornament Card

Here is a sweet card using the Taylored Expressions Beauty Lies Within 3 die cut out in pink and backed with a circle of mirrcard. I then cut the string and ornament top using the Taylored Expressions Ornament Accessories die st. The Noel is by Taylord Expressions as well. I finished off the card with coordinating ribbon and tying a double bow with the Zutter Bow-it-all! Final touches of silver sequins. 

Santa Wine Tag

I'm a little off center on this tag but I still think it turned out cute! I used the Taylored Expressions Wine bottle tag and cut it out in red. I then used a scalloped circle and regular circle by Spellbinders and cut out the 'fur' around the neck. I cut a strip of white to go down the front of the suit. For the rest of the Santa tag I used the Sack It To You Santa dies by Taylored Expressions!

You could put this on a bottle of wine, soda, water or whatever favorite drink your friends and family like!

Noel Kitty Shaker Card

I am loving the looks of this card! I used the Tall Evergreen circle die by Memory Box and cut it out of a 5.5"x 4.25" piece of white card stock. I added a piece of acetate to the back and surrounded the circle from the back with double sided foam adhesive.
I then created the snowy  dark background by blending a blue and purple distress ink and then sprinkling with water. I added white tinsel glitter and attached to card front.
I cut out the cat from Impression Obsessions Cat dies and the Noel from Taylored Expressions. I popped the entire thing on an A2 card base.
Simple but sweet shaker card!

Taylored Expressions Sleigh

Just some quick inspiration for your holiday cards! Embossed the blue background with Taylored Expressions Snowflake embossing folder. Tore white cardstock to make the snow and covered the edges with Crystal Stickles. I used scraps of mirrcard to cut the sleigh runners and glitter paper to cut out the sleigh. The outline piece is done in shimmer paper. The joy sentiment is by Taylored Expressions as well.

Merry & Bright Shaker

For this simple yet fun card, I used the Taylored Expressions Merry & Bright die and cut it out of black. I then used a rectangle die and cut the same size rectangle out of white card stock. I attached them together and added acetate to the back side to create the shaker window. I used double sided foam tape around the box from the back and filled with tinsel glitter. Then attach to the card. A fun and pretty little shaker card!

No Prob-llama

For this card I used a Llama stamp set by MFTstamps and colored it with Copics. Dies used were also by My Favorite Things. Background was embossed with a chevron embossing folder by Tayored Expressions. Sequins were added to finish it off.

Cheery Lynn Penny-farthing Bicycle die

Made this vintage looking card using the Cheery Lynn Penny Farthing Bicycle die cut out of black cardstock. I also used the Cheery Lynn Roses dies to create the flowers in coordinating colors adding pearls in the center. Love how this card turned out!

Build a Scene-Lakeside by Taylored Expressions

Here is another card made using the Taylored Expressions Build a Scene-Lakeside die set. The background is made with the cloud embossing folder and the grass is cut from a stitched rectangle. River is a Impression Obsession river/road die and birch trees and bird are also by Impression Obsession.

Impression Obsession Peace Die

I made this card using a snowflake embossing folder by Taylored Expression, the Peace die by Impression Obsession, the stitched double fishtail banner by Frantic Stampers and the 'snowflake' is the Aster die by Memory Box. I added 3 little pearls to finish it off. 

Impression Obsession Birch Trees and Road/Stream

There is a lot of subtle things going on in this card. 

The background sky is embossing with a cloud embossing folder by Taylored Expressions. The grassy area is cut with a stitched rectangle by Memory Box Open Studio. The tee pee and canoe by Taylored Expressions are popped up and inked with a mocha chalk ink. The birch trees by Impression obsession are also inked. The bird in flight and the stream are also dies by Impression Obsession. 

Taylored Expressions On The Line Cutting Plate

For this card I got out my Dylusions spray ink and sprayed in on a golden yellow card stock. I then added the On The Line Cutting plate  and the Wispy Grass in black (both dies by Taylored Expressions) and the Celebrate die by Cheery Lynn. Quick and easy sunset card!

Taylored Expressions Build a Scene-Lakeside set

I made this card by first taking a piece of paper and using Distress Ink to create the sky. Then I layered the hills on top using the Poppy Stamps die stitched Landscapes. I made the Tree, fire and tee pee using the Taylored Expressions Build-a-scene Lakeside set. The stitched clouds and sentiment are also by Taylored Expressions. The stitched tag is by Frantic Stamper.

Impression Obsession Chicken and Rooster

Something about this time of year reminds me of county fairs and farms! To make this card I used the Stitched Rectangle dies from Memory Box Open Studio, the wispy grass die and Chicken Wire embossing folder by Taylored Expressions, the sun die by MFTstamps (dienamics) and the chicken and rooster die by impressions Obsessions. 

Cheery Lynn Stacker Flower #4

Love the simple look of this card. Using all aqua/teals and whites makes this card so pretty! I used Stitched Squares by Cottage Cutz and the flower is the Cheery Lynn Stacker Flower 4. For the center of the flower, I borrowed the center of the Cheery Lynn Sunflower die. I used the Zutter Bow-it-all to make the pretty little double bow. Pattern paper is a retired line by Carta Bella.

Dee's Distinctively Dies Cardinal and Impression Obsession Pine

This card could easily be flipped into a Christmas card instead of a birthday card.  I wanted to make something a little more outdoorsy for a birthday. I love the colors in this card. I popped up the cardinal by Dee's Distinctively dies. It was a set of 8 different cardinals. 

The branch is by Impression Obsession, I cut that out in a color to match my base and the grayish brown in the wood paper background. The Happy Birthday sentiment is by Taylored Expressions.

I used a black and white gingham ribbon to finish it off. I made the double bow using the Zutter Bow-it-all. If you haven't tried out this tool yet and love to use bows on your projects, you definitely should! I can make so many perfect bows in a short period of time!! I LOVE it!

Memory Box Ballerina card

What a sweet card for that special ballerina in your life!! This die by Memory Box is such a sweet and elegant die! I used soft purples and grays to create this dancing girl. 

Pretty Peach Card

I typically don't like the color peach. I think it stems from all peach home decor in the late 80's early 90's. However, I LOVE the looks of this card!! I used peach flowers cut with the Cheery Lynn Daisy strip. And a peach frame cut out from Taylored Expressions. I found a distressed looking pattern paper that coordinated and then embossed it with an embossing folder from Taylored Expressions. I wanted a subtle difference for the card base so used fossil kraft paper. To tie it in with the front I added leaves and flower center from dies by MFTstamps (dienamics). 

Maybe peach is starting to grow on me!

Window Dies

Love this window die by Memory Box. Makes a quick and easy card. I used a small floral printed fabric as the background and added a strip of brown paper as a chair rail. Cut out a window in matching brown paper. I backed the window with a square of cloud paper. The valance is made from an Impression Obsession border die. I added cats to give the card whimsy! They are also from Impression Obsession. 

Little Friendly Hedgehog Card

To make this card I used a cutting template from Pazzles library and adjusted it to the size I needed. I cut it out and inked the pieces. A google eye completed the hedgehog. The stitched clouds and wispy grass are by Taylored Expressions. The fence and flowers are by Impression Obsessions. I chose a piece of polka dot paper out of my scraps to complete the look of the card.

Memory Box Curved Get Well Soon die

I used a scrap piece of Kaiser Craft paper for the background of this card. I cut the Get Well Soon curved die by Memory Box out of a cherry red card stock and layered it on the card base.
Next I cut out a cream and a cherry red flower using the Cheery Lynn Judy's Bloom die. I manipulated the flowers with my stylus before layering and topping with a large gem.
The perfect little pick me up for your friends!

Cheery Lynn Stacker Flowers

For this card I used the Cheery Lynn Stacker Flower #4. I cut it out of metalic text weight paper. Hello die by Memory Box. Fishtail banner by Frantic Stamper. I added pink tinted rhinestones to finish it off!

Taylored Expressions Little Bits Coffee to Go

Love this Little Bits Coffee to Go die by Taylored Expressions! Coffee is what gets me through the day! Background paper is Reminisce Coffeology. Double sided stitched fishtail banner is by Frantic Stamper. Stitched circle die is by MFTstamps (Dienamics). Perfect card for the coffee lover in your life! 

Ken Oliver Orchid Color Bursts

This card is made by using Color Bursts on glossy paper. The dragon flies are a die by Cheery Lynn and cut out of mirrcard. I used the weathered wood embossing folder by Taylored Expressions for the white background. Fishtail banner is by Frantic Stamper. Sentiment by Taylored Expressions.

Giving Thanks

Summer is almost over as fall is quickly approaching. High of 60 this coming week. Cooler weather makes me think of my favorite holiday. Thanksgiving!

To create this card I used Mulberry Wine card stock for the base and layered with black Card stock. I created the next layer using mirrcard, StazOn and Distress inks, Braided embossing folder and heat embossing.(future tutorial to come!) I cut out a scalloped oval and layered it with cut out images I stamped from the Fall Florals stamp set using Toffee, Sweet Basil, Mulled Wine, Pumpkin, Dijon & Candy Corn inks. I cut out a fishtail banner and stamped the sentiment from the same dies set with Mulled Wine ink. I finished it off with some brownish epoxy bubble dots that were in my stash.

I used the sketch from the Taylored Expressions for their 9th Birthday Challenge.

Happy Bloomin' Birthday

I made up this sweet card for the Taylored Expressions 9th Birthday Challenge. I stamped the background with the Notable Blooms Background stamp and colored it with Copics. The flowers are from the Mini Bloomers die set and the sentiment is from the Bloomin' Birthday stamp & die set. You can't really tell in this picture buy I added clear Wink of Stella to the colored flowers. I finished it off with epoxy dots from my stash

Owl Card

 Made this cute owl from a file on the Pazzles library. Added colorful balloons cut from Tayored Expressions Balloon little bits die. Added black twine for the string. The Time to Party is from a set of stamps by Penny Black. I stamped it on a stitched banner.
Don't you think the google eyes make this owl?

Birthday's Are the Best~Congrats

Here is a card I made for the Taylored Expressions 9th Birthday Challenge (links and sketch below) For this card I used Granny Smith card stock. Patterned paper from the Playful Patterns-Holiday paper pack. I used Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers oxide inks to create the background behind the shaker. Then I stamped the Congrats from the Sign of the Times set and heat embossed it. The Strawberry Milkshake card stock I cut out using the Frame in Frame cutting plate. I Embossed the Cookie Monster card stock with the Ah-maze-ing embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Balloon Buddies Stamps set and the music notes are the Love Notes dies.

Impression Obsession Quilted Elepheant

This sweet Elephant by Impression Obsession is floating up in the stitched clouds by Taylored Expressions. The balloon is by Impression Obsessions also. Background is an embossing folder by Taylored Expressions inked before embossing. Frame is a die by Taylored Expressions. 

Sunflower watering can

A quick coloring of this stamp with Copics then I cut it out with the Dienamics stitched flag banners. Cut the same size banner out of yellow. Added to front of card with yellow ribbon and double bow. Leaves are a die by Memory Box that I cut apart and tucked underneath.

Newton Nook Stamp Newton Scoots By

Just picked up this cute stamp by Newtons Nook and had to work with it right away!

I made the background with Dylusions spray inks and glossy paper. The purple is cut with MFTstamps dome die and then embossed with a Taylored Expressions Ikat embossing folder. 

The road and grass is by Taylored Expressions and the clouds are a die by MFTstamps. 

I used Wink of Stella to make the scooter sparkle and glossy accents on the headlight. 

Wildflower Stamps

Not used to using a stamp that I don't color but I love the way that this card turned out! Oval dies by Spellbinders and leaves by Sizzix.

Stamped sunflowers and leaves

I made it my mission to try and use a bunch of stamps that I hadn't used before. I believe these stamps are all Great Impressions. I stamped the 'sunflowers' on the side in a golden ink. Then stamped the delicate leaves stamp on another sheet and fussy cut them out before adding them to the card. The twine just finished it off!

Newtons Nook Newton Loves Coffee

This card was inspired from Pinterest because I thought it was so cute! I added some of my own touches though of course! Lots of bright copic colors and fun accents!

Taylored Expressions Shade Tree Cutting Plate

Every once in a while I feel the need to make a monochromatic card. That was my plan as I started cutting for this card. Background is cream cardstock embossed with the weathered embossing folder by Taylored Exprssions. The Shade tree cutting plate and bicycle are also by Taylored Expressions. I then decided to add a splash of color and chose a peach and punched out flowers by EK Success. I really love how this card turned out!

Taylored Expressions Build a Scene-Lakeside

I quick card using the Lakeside dies and fun papers. I also used the stitched clouds by Taylored Expressions, Stitched Landscapes by Memory Box and stamp set by Taylored Expressions. Cloud background was using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. 

So thankful for you!!

Made the background of this card by stamping the flowers on cardstock with various colors. I then stamped some flower images on another paper, cut them out and added stitching around the flowers with a fine line Zig marker. I popped them up on the card. I added a vase from the Taylored Expressions vases and a stitched banner with a sentiment. I finished it off with the twine bow.

Dienamics Split Chevron Cover-Up

Sorry for the shadow on the picture, but I just LOVE the colors in this card. The background is a die by MFTstamps (dienamics) called Split Chevron Cover-up. It is so dainty in real life! The scribbles behind the hedgehog is a die by Impression Obsession. Leaves are a die by Cheery Lynn and the Hedgehog is a stamp set and matching die set by MFTstamps (Dienamics) called Happy Hedgehog. Image is colored with Copics.

MFT Stamps Happy Hedgehogs

 I made this sweet little card using papers by My Minds Eye and the MFTstamps (Dienamics) Happy Hedgehog stamp set with matching dies. The neat stitched opening was created with a MFTstamps (Dienamics) die! Sentiment is part of the stamp set and the images were colored with Copics. 

Dee's Distinctively Dies Lilac

This card is similar to one that I just made in a class. This is using the Lilac die by Dee's Distinctively Dies. I inked all the layers of flowers before gluing and then added dabs of glue on top before sprinkling with glitter. So much prettier in person!

Dienamics Quilt Square Cover-up

I love this Quilt Square Cover-Up by My favorite Things. I used papers by Doodlebug to make these card fronts. I just need to add some type of sentiment and my cards are ready to send out. 

I can see so many possibilities with this die!!! 

Taylored Expressions Door to Door 2

This card is made using the Taylored Expressions Door to Door 2 set as well as a variety of other dies by Taylored Expressions. I love this door set as it comes with a hinge so you can have your door open if you want to! What a fun way to send a message to a friend!
