This pretty pink polka dot paper is set off with this gorgeous brown Arboscello tree die by Memory Box. This is one of my top 5 favorite tree dies to use! I wanted something a little spring looking for my friends birthday so added pink butterflies punched out with the Martha Stewart punch. Banner is by Taylored Expressions. Stamp is from a set by Impression Obsession.

I made this card using as a step card, I embossed the base with the bubbles embossing folder by Taylored Expressions and added a torn piece to the front bottom as a snowbank, I cut out the window and it's frame and layered it with acetate. I then added greenery from the Martha Stewart punch. I also used the same punch to create the tree over a triangle as the back step of the card. (viewed through the window) Stickles in green, gold and red were added as 'lights' on the tree. I colored one of the small crazy cats by Tim Holtz to add peeking out the window. Everything on the front of the card was embellished with crystal Stickles to give it that sparkly snow look.

What a simple but elegant card for the holidays! I used pink MirrCard, a coordinating glitter paper by PaperCuts and the Ornaments and Ornaments Accessories dies by Taylored Expressions. The snowflakes are the negative cut from one of the ornaments. Quick and simple but oh so pretty!

Love the looks of this card using the Cheery Lynn car die! Layered the papers and blocked up an embossed paper (embossed with diamond plate embossing folder by Darice). Added the neat gears border die from Memory Box. I cut it apart to put around the card. Great card for my car crazy husband!

Taking a little break from paper crafting to work on a stocking project that I've been putting off for a few years.
I started off by picking out my fabrics at Joann's. They had a great sale on fabrics so I got a good deal. I didn't want to go with traditional colors or with Christmas themed fabrics. It took me and my daughter Jordan about 45 minutes to finally decide on these 6 patterns!
We decided to pair them with a solid burgundy for the back of the stocking and a solid white for the stocking lining and 'cuff'.
For this pattern and direction:
I printed her pattern and then made it slightly bigger for my stockings.
I love that you quilt it as you go! I've made several table runners this way!
Then just keep sewing them on each end until you have it done!!
Then quilt it. I chose to do it in straight lines like she did. I say straight but they really aren't! ha! I just put them where I thought they needed to go.
Then pinned the pattern on the back and trimmed the excess. I didn't take off the inch off the top like she said, but left it to my original pattern.
Then sewed on the lining and back per her instructions (I failed to get pictures of this!!) and finished it off by not having the lining stick up since I'm adding a cuff.
This is what it looked like.
I'm making 8 of them!!
I then embroidered the name and added the cuff to the top. Pictures to come!! And then added an edging and a loop and viola!

I made this card using gray gingham paper by Doodlebug. The Flowers were made by stamping with embossing ink and using white embossing powder on vellum. After heat embossing I hand cut out the flowers then turned them over and colored them with Copics on the backside.

Make this quick and easy Christmas card using the Memory Box ornament trio! Used a white card base and layered it with a purple metallic paper. Then used gold glitter paper. Cut the ornament trio out of white paper and layered it all. The gold bow was the perfect finish! So quick and easy.....there is even room for you to stamp a simple sentiment for the holidays if you wanted to!
