Vintage Scrapbook page

I found this sweet looking paper when I was straightening stock at the store. It reminded me of wallpaper you would find in your grandmothers home. And it was a lonely paper with no mates.....you know how I feel about those sad, lonely papers!! They just need to be loved!!

I used a Cheery Lynn Doily die, Cheery Lynn flower die, Cheery Lynn leaf strip die, and a EK Success paper punch. This lonely paper is now in our pages for sale and I don't think it will be there for very long!!

Bright Summer colors

I am often using color combinations that others people just wouldn't use. Like with these pages for sale. I like these pages for tropical pictures...instead of using the more muted whites and greys, I decided to play of the green, yellows and blues in the pattern. The colors remind me of times spent in Florida and the bright colors and textures of the foliage. And you can't stay in a hotel anywhere near Disney without bright colored room decor!

Banners are cut using MFT flag banner dies. Flowers are Cheery Lynn and embossing folder by Anna Griffin.

Graphic 45

For those not aware, Graphic 45 has several papers that are compilations of pictures perfect for making quick and easy cards with. The 12 x 12 papers have different size pictures on them. For this project I used a paper that had 4 pictures perfect for A2 sized cards and 4 pictures perfect for larger cards.
I chose these papers since greens and peaches are the hot colors for this season. These are part of a card kit I designed for Picture This.

These cards are embellished with a variety of dies, embossing folders, inks and ribbons to compliment the pictures. There is a graduation card, 2 birthday cards and an anniversary card.

National Scrapbooking Day

I guess I'm a little late for National Scrapbooking Day. Last weekend I had a baby shower and my youngest turned 15! May is such a busy time!!

Here is a page I whipped up quick the other day from bits and pieces of other projects that were lying around. We have lots of camping adventures in my family, so this was perfect!

Trees are for sale at the store as well as the title, Deer are cut from and IO die. Paper is found in the outdoors section of Picture This. I inked the trees to help them pop and even popped out one of them for more dimension.

What kind of adventure are you going to have?
