Basic Grey Papers and Heartfelt Creations Flowers

People who know me know how much I LOVE Basic Grey papers. It's been about a year since they announced that were no longer going to make papers. I'm still sad about it and tend to hoard the papers I do have for something very special!

I love this bold paisley pattern and then flowers dies by Heartfelt Creations just make this page come to life!

Seas the Day!!

Cheery Lynn Floral Bouquet Die

I made this bright and cheerful card using the Cheery Lynn Floral Bouquet die set, stitched oval by MFTstamps (Dienamics) and scalloped oval by Spellbinders. The sentiment stamp is by Penny Black.

Montage Paper Cards

 To make this card I used Picture This exclusive montage papers. These cute little ducks are surrounded by a scalloped frame by MFTstamps (Dienamics). The grasses are by Impression Obsession and the pretty double bow is made with the Zutter Bow-it-All!

Impression Obsession Scribble Circles

This card is made by using the Scribble Circle dies by Impression Obsession along with the Best Wishes die from Taylored Expressions The leaves are a die from Heartfelt Creations and the flower was handmade by die cutting a circle and then cutting it into a spiral. Then I used my quilling tool to roll it into a flower. 

Color Burst Cards

I recently participated in a card swap at Picture This in which we had to use embossing folders. 

I started out by spritzing my cardstock with water and adding the color burst powders. 

Then spritzing with more water until I got the look I wanted. 

I let the pieces dry overnight. Then I ran them through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder by Taylored Expressions. 

I layered the cards with other embossed elements and finished off my card.
